Hi,
I don`t know if it is a silly idea to make tapered tubes from standard tubes with liquid latex.
Just dipping the tubes into the latex like if you do when making candles.
With every dip you reduce the length you put the tube into the latex.
So you get conical tubes??

Zwillie

PS Yes, Zwillie got some christmas candle light grog...hicks.

It could work in theory, but I don't know how strong liquid latex is when cured. Might be worth a try.

  4. The theory is sound, I however do not have the materials to see how it works in practice.

My only doubt would be if the liquid latex will stick to the tubes or simply slip of, these tubes got a quite smooth surface.

But if you got the material, give it a try.

    Hi,
this was just an idea I had when I saw this stuff.

I could get high viscosity liquid latex with over 60% of rubber.
Normally you get 0.1mm layer thickness per dipping and with this one 0,3-0,4mm.

This cost about 20€ per Kg ...and the rest is for halloween

Think I call the shop and ask for some details.

But make sure the surface of the tube is really clean.

Looking forward to see the results :)
